What You Need to Know
Description:
9 x SolarWorld 235w panels, Enphase 215 microinverters, Locus energy monitor
Maintenance Requirements:
none expected
My Motivation:
demo green energy, decent ROI
Advice:
PV "land rush" is on; it won't last, so do it now if possible Avoid vendors who don't send somebody out right away to do site eval, who just push what a good deal it is without tech details.
Experience with Installer:
United Solar: Dan McGrath: experienced, capable, conscientious. One-day install; getting inspections took a couple weeks.
Additional Notes:
Roof azimuth is 135*, some shading, so site doesn't have to be perfect. I expect to get 100% annual because I use little electricity.
Open House Info:
not open for GBOH 2013, but contact me for visits at other times
