What You Need to Know
Description:
18 American-made SolarWorld panels with Enphase microinverters and included system monitoring.
Other Benefits:
Minute-by-minute system monitoring so I can see in real time what my system is doing and exactly how much I am saving!
Maintenance Requirements:
Occasional washing, which is done with a hose from the ground level once a year. Incredibly easy to do!
My Motivation:
Save money on electricity bill, add property value, take advantage of expiring local rebate, added extra protection to roof.
Advice:
You should only install solar on a house once, so make sure you do it right. Don't go for the most expensive, but don't cheap out either because it'll cost you more down the line than you would save.
Experience with Installer:
Extremely customer-oriented and customized everything to what I wanted to do, and where I wanted the panels to go. There was a lot of paperwork, mostly from the city because Glendale had a great rebate, but the company took care of everything and made everything very simple and easy for me.
