What You Need to Know
Description:
25 Panasonic 330W panels, 25 Enphase IQ7 Microinverters and 1 Enphase Envoy
Other Benefits:
15 minute monitoring
Maintenance Requirements:
None. Everything is warrantied for 25 years.
Efficiency or Sustainability Improvements:
None yet.
My Motivation:
Tax Credit and a desire to help the environment.
Advice:
Review your needs. Get at least three estimates. Use top tier panels and micro inverters. Get warranties on everything. You have to get an electric provider with net-metering. I'm using Green Mountain Energy Net Rewards Plan.
Experience with Installer:
I had no problems with IES Texas Solar.
Additional Notes:
Best panel placement is facing south. I have south and west facing panels due to limited south exposure. The west facing panels produce about 80% of what the south facing panels produce.
