What You Need to Know
Description:
My roof was a clay roof so it required some extra charges.
Maintenance Requirements:
None
My Motivation:
To save money on energy and get clean energy
Advice:
Do talk to few installers as the cost varies quite a bit from one to other. Understand what system you are getting. I prefer microinverters over string inverters. There is a small catch to microinverters that based on what model you get, it has a cap on how much energy it will produce.
Experience with Installer:
Good communication and installer understood my requirements.
Additional Notes:
My city took long time to approve the plan. Installer was trying but not that hard to get permit. I have to jump in to directly talk to city and that helped in getting the permit. One got the permit, installation went very smooth.
