What You Need to Know
Description:
SYSTEM INFO : SIZE : PANEL : INVERTER : RACKING : WARRANTY: 8.91 KW 22 x REC405 Enphase IQ8Plus-72-2-US Iron Ridge XR100 - Black 15 YEAR WORKMANSHIP / 25 YEAR INVERTER / 25 YEAR PANEL
Other Benefits:
Maximum sun exposure.
Maintenance Requirements:
Brand new system.
My Motivation:
First and foremost, we wanted to have a more sustainable way to generate power for our home. Secondly, we wanted to reduce the cost of what we pay for energy. We are also hoping to donate some of our solar credits if, after a year, we determine that we have more than enough power for our home.
Advice:
Take advantage of the free, professional, helpful services that EnergySage offers. Consider strongly buying or financing your own system (vs. leasing solar panels). Consider going with a reputable local installer!
Experience with Installer:
Professional, helpful advice from our local installer and great communication. Plus, they were able to install 22 solar panels on a third story roof in the Berkshires in January!
Additional Notes:
Despite some snow and ice on our roof during the installation process, our local installer--Northeast Solar of Hatfield, MA--did great work, completing the installation by Jan. 31, 2024.
