Southern is proud to offer university community homeowners a Solarize program similar to programs that have been successful in more than 30 CT towns. Our goal is to optimize your energy savings, and to help make exploring solar options simpler using an online solar marketplace called EnergySage. SCSU has teamed up with CT Green Bank, SmartPower, Yale, Wesleyan, University of New Haven, and ECSU to provide information and access to this program. Prices for residential solar systems have dropped substantially in the last three years, and savings and incentives are excellent in our state! By registering with EnergySage, participants will have access to:

“We are especially excited about Solarize because Southern seeks to develop a more balanced relationship with the environment. Solarize Southern allows us to extend our commitment to our faculty and staff by giving those of you who are homeowners a chance to reap the benefits of solar, reducing your monthly bills and your carbon footprint at the same time.”
