SolTerra Solar

We highly recommend Solterra! We recently built a garage with a roof designed specifically for solar. After interviewing six companies, we chose Solterra because they are a small, locally-owned business; because their price was competitive; because they had the best warranty; and because everyone we met really really knows what they're doing. Kendall and Paige are great; more than once Solterra's schedule had to change to accommodate the other contractors on our project and they were a breeze to work with. Every person who showed up to install every aspect (electrical, actual installation, fire compliance, etc.) was highly professional and clearly enjoying their career. And surprise! After our signed contract (yet well before installation), the panels we had chosen had a price drop, and Solterra passed the savings on to us. Unheard of; thanks Solterra! Our installation has been online for a week now, and even on a cloudy November day in the Pacific Northwest we love seeing those panels make energy from the light they get. So happy we did this; so glad we chose Solterra!

Solterra is made up of amazing people!! From our first interactions with Kendall to our final walk through all our questions got answer quickly and in detail. Our site visit was straightforward and concise. We had some issues with securing a loan, for unclear reasons, and Kendall went to bat for us using all the channels he had available to try and straightened out the issue. Our install team was friendly, efficient, professional, and on point with their communication. The installation itself went down without a hitch and they even took the time to wave at my kid. They cleaned everything up at the end of each day. On the last day they made sure all my questions were answered and that I knew who to call if anything else came up. On the backend Paige kept us up to date and informed. The final product is clean and working like a dream. We really couldn’t have asked for anything different and overall things went much smoother and quicker than any other home improvement project I have been part of before.

I appreciate EnergySage for vetting solar providers. Because there was little financial or product difference between providers, ultimately my decision came down to interpersonal qualities and service. Federal and state incentives make this a good time to buy solar. Solterra presented the full price in their proposal. If for some reason the tax credit doesn't come through, my system still breaks even in seven years. From my first meeting with sales consultant, Kendall, I was impressed by his thoughtful commitment to solar energy and understanding my goals. Each employee was long tenured, well spoken and excellent ambassadors for the company. Paige, the office administrator, kept me apprised of the expected timeline and all of the steps to completing my system. Originally scheduled for September, I was delighted to have the installation a month earlier. Kendall came out for a final review and orientation. I am thrilled to be producing solar energy. I give my highest recommendation for this woman-owned, local firm.

SolTerra Solar team explain the system well to inform me what I needed to do and what was being done for me. I chose to put on a new roof first and then schedule the solar installation. The team informed me of all the permitting and approvals and turn on that would happen. I'm glad to say I have gotten my first electric bill and I was a net generator. I even have two Tesla cars I charge.
