All Energy Solar

Received a quote in July as part of a bid through EnergySage for a whole home array and sat on it for a bit because I wasn't quite ready to move forward (I was also expecting more favorable interest rates in the fall than what was being offered). So, beginning of September I reached out to the contact at All Energy that had been assigned, Kevan Bohan, and asked for an updated quote because I wanted to just change the energy need from 102% of need to 110% to compare it to the other 6 quotes I got before scheduling meetings. I got a message back saying that they could modify the quote however I wanted on a phone call, and exact quote: "If you change your mind or are still curious how a free quote works, feel free reach out to me at any time to connect." This is pretty condescending, right? I feel like this is condescending to assume I don't know how quotes work. Anyway, I brushed it off like maybe I was just taking it in a way that it wasn't intended; like I hadn't had my coffee and was just reading into things that weren't there. So, this morning on 9/13/24, I opened Kevan's profile on EnergySage to request a phone call/meeting and it opened up his Calendly style scheduler showing his availability. I booked an appointment for tomorrow (a Saturday) because he had availability listed and that worked really well for me. Immediately after booking, I get an email from Kevan saying that he's not available tomorrow and had availability right now instead. Just 3 minutes to get started! (who knows how long it actually takes though). I emailed him back saying I am not available and asked him to update his scheduler with his actual availability so I can pick an appointment that works, and within 5 minutes his whole schedule was greyed out as unavailable with no options to select a new appointment and no feedback from Kevan on alternative ways to book. Just "call me now/today!" I received quotes from 6 other vendors and they actually seemed interested in setting up meetings with me in a way that worked for both of us, so I just scratched All Energy off my list of prospective partners for this project. Shame, they seem popularly rated.

All Energy Solar did a fantastic job with our solar panel installation. They made it easy to complete the documents for our HOA and were always clear about where things were at for each step of the process. After installation, when our home had issues with a breaker tripping, All Energy quickly sent the nicest electrician to our home twice (first to test, then to resolve) to fix things by replacing all the offending breakers. We were nervous because these issues happened after we had paid in full, but we did not need to be because All Energy's service and support continued, and they were excellent to work with. I wish all of our interactions with home repairs and upgrades were as pleasant and easy as our solar panel installation.

Responsive, professional, excellent customer service, and knowledgeable. They made sure we were fully educated on the process, what to expect before during and after, and on the equipment before we signed anything. Best quote we received (below what we had anticipated paying), and most responsive. Install went very well. Minor issues were resolved quickly with minimum fuss.
