When we moved into proposal and contracting, I knew I was with the right team. You have an impressive combination of technical experience and personal integrity that I admire. With our system being a fire rebuild on top of Covid related supply chain issues, it required creative thinking. I remember your patience and diligence and I was happy that you were able to add the Powerwalls to the PV solution.  We are very happy with the system.  Your team did an excellent job with the layouts and overall workmanship.  The system is solid and it works well.  We’ve had dozens of utility power fails in the past few months and it is really nice to go off grid with confidence!

Better Late than never review. We chose Taylor Energy to do our Solar Install in 2019. We were very happy with the results! Highly recommend choosing Sean's company to do your solar install. He answered all of your questions, was understanding in our delays due to new roof install, and was just a very professional individual. Probably not the cheapest quote we got, but Taylor was semi local and a smaller company than some of the others that provided quotes. There were no surprises and install was very quick.

Sean Taylor helped in every step of the process; picking the appropriate hardware, laying out an attractive array of panels, fastediously attaching the framework to the roof (ours had no attic, so everything would have been exposed through the ceiling if bolted incorrectly), electrical, permits, etc..I highly recommend Taylor Energy to anyone who wishes to see a job performed well.

I was very highly motivated to install a solar array and backup battery for my home. After responding right away to my EnergySage inquiry, Sean Taylor made himself available for a phone conversation when I could work one in to my challenging schedule. He made a point to do a second pass investigation of my property before we talked so he would have more information. When we spoke he listened to my particular needs for backup power and my aspirations for a clean solution. He was immediately straight with me: because of significant shade and the location of my house on a portion of a hill without a lot of sun my house is not a good candidate for solar, and because of my significant and inflexible requirement for stable backup power he felt it made more economic and practical sense to forego solar for a more traditional backup system. I was worried this would be the case, and very much hoping for a different answer, but so very much appreciate his honesty. He spent a good amount of time with me explaining all of this, and even educated me about different avenues for back up power using non-solar methods. When I asked him for a recommendation for a local contractor to do this kind of work, he happily offered someone who he has worked with and went so far as to send me a follow up email with the contractor's contact information. I am so very impressed with his forthrightness, integrity, low key approach, generosity and straight up honesty. I wish I could have gone forward on this project with him just based on this conversation, but sadly cannot. What I can do is vouch for his integrity and how he clearly puts the customers needs first even when it means talking them out of a project. In my opinion, that may be as strong a recommendation as can be made by a satisfied customer.

Sean & the Taylor Energy crew were great to work with. Sean was always quick to answer questions, and never gave the hard sell. The quote was good value for top tier equipment, and not way oversized like some quotes we got. Sean managed the process end to end, the planning, permits, installation, inspections, turn on, all i did was write the check!. Installation went very smoothly, and looked very neat when done. You could tell where they'd been working because it was cleaner than when they started. Overall a great stress free experience for us. I'd highly recommend Taylor Energy.

My wife and I couldn't be happier with our overall experience in the whole process, from the quote to the activation, of getting solar from Taylor Energy. Sean, the owner, was extremely patient and informative from beginning to end. He took care of everything from obtaining the permits to dealing with PG&E. He was flexible in his scheduling and made sure the work site was cleaned up.
