New York State Solar Farm

The team at NYSSF made my install process easy and complete. Every step of the way, the office staff, Gabby, Allyson and the team kept me updated on where we were in the process. Installation day was a terrible post ice storm and the crew worked un the cold and wind to get my system installed. The loan process was easy, form signed online and a complete job well done.

I highly recommend New York Solar Farm for your Solar System installation. They installed a nine-panel solar system on our house in one afternoon during December 2024. Two work crews installed the system for us in less than three hours. One crew installed the metering and conduits, while the other crew installed the solar panels on our two-story roof. Both teams were respectful and efficient and left no mess. Kevin Curley and his staff, consisting of Rose, Allyson, Krystle, Yanira and others, made a complex operation into a painless experience. They took care of all the permitting, and inspection scheduling for us. From initial installation to activate the net metering system by Orange and Rockland Utilities, turn on took about a month. Currently this February, our system provides all but about 3 KWH of our electric needs. It will perform do much better later in the year, when the weather is not so cloudy, and the sun is higher in the sky, with longer daylight hours. I chose NYSSF for a number of reasons 1) They had access to all the latest equipment (Rec solar panels, Tesla PW 3s) 2) Their customer support was amazing (Thanks Gabby and Ally) 3) Their price was very competitive I was originally going to give a 4 star review, because the technicians said I could only install some of the equipment (gateway, combiner) in places I didn't want. However, on installation day the technicians actually acceded to my request and we installed the equipment where I had originally desired. As far as the lead up to install date, they took care of all the paperwork and certification, I didn't have to do anything other than sign e documents. My system has been up and running smoothly for about 2months. I had one issue regarding the Tesla app (display issue, system itself was working), and they fixed it the same week. Highly recommend.
