I ran into a few issues, both during the install, and a couple of years post-install. Eventually, everything worked out and they provided good service. There has been some communication issues in the past, but at least as of Mar 2025 they seemed to be putting effort into remedying their prior mistakes. The quote was the cheapest for me at the time I installed.

I regret my decision to have LA solar install my enphase solar system. LA solar has very poor communication with me and within themselves to resolve any issues. Solar install and activation took a very long time outside of time for permits and PTO. Required constant requests for them to come finish and fix issues with the enphase hardware after installation, the system was down for around a month total after first operation and they visited multiple times to troubleshoot and resolve issues. The system is still not installed as intended as the battery doesn’t backup the correct loads specified and doesn’t power certain loads on the meter as it was intended, and they have ignored my repeated requests to fix it. I have filed a complaint with the state contractor board about this company and would not recommend them or enphase hardware for anyone.

I inherited a LA solar system from the prior owner of my home which had a SolarEdge 10,000 watt inverter. When the inverter broke LA solar worked quickly to get a replacement up and running. Much appreciated!

LA Solar Group is an excellent solar installer. They will do exactly what they said. Also, their technicians are very professional and make the job right. I am very happy with LA Solar Group. Thank you very much for taking good care of my solar system.

My solar edge inverter failed 8/4 in the middle of the afternoon . Attempted to contact the installer Barnes Solar and to my surprise they went out of business. They were in the process of merging with LA Solar which did not transpire however LA Solar took over their clients (unfortunately labor was not included). LA Solar immediately saw my system down and had the replacement part ordered. My replacement inverter was installed on 8-20 by John who after picking his brain was a very knowledgeable and experienced technician. John recommended I educate myself in the panels to ensure what my warranty truely is regardless what was in contract 25 year warranty. I located the manufacturer after finding out that my panels are obsolete. I asked John about solar battery storage which he highly encouraged which I was already thinking about. Highly recommend LA Solar.

We used LA Solar to install solar 8-9 years ago. When our power bill seemed excessively high recently, they came out and discovered wiring in the transformer was fried. They replaced it with no charge to us and we are back generating. They really stand behind their service!
