Steven Depina made our solar project a nightmare. His response time to my requests was exceptional poor, costing me many thousands of dollars in solar panel rebates. The project took over nine months to complete because of errors in the paperwork he submitted to the permit applications He did such a miserable job that he promised to buy and install a new electric water heater at his own expense as an “apology” and then ditched us. Almost two years later, I am still waiting for my final paperwork so I can apply for my rebate. He tried to bribe me into writing a good review, which points to his unethical behavior. Run from this man and his company. You can do better.

Steve and Kieth answered all our questions and guided us though the hurdles placed in our way by our municipality and electric company. Their price was the best of 4 quotes we received, and installation was completed quickly. I would definitely recommend giving them a call if you’re interested in going solar.

I went with RES and I had a great experience. RES installed a 14.5kw system in June and it is generating great production so far.I already had 0 payment on first electric bill and achieved close to 500.00 in credits.Steve is a good man and makes sure everything is working so your happy.They also are very competitive when it comes to pricing. Decided to move forward with Renewable Energy Solutions (RES) after discussions with several other Solar Installers. RES presented a clear and complete understanding of what was to be installed and provided a schedule that was met with time to spare. One of the deciding factors was their being a local company with neighboring installations which we could view. RES kept to its schedule, provided a lower cost installation, high end equipment, and even provided replacement LED fixtures included in the work. RES installation personnel were a delight to work with and were extremely professional and the office staff responded quickly to any questions we had. We highly recommend them.

Came, did the survey, sent me a proposal to which I agreed, and that was the last I ever heard of them. Not exactly what I was looking for. Even a "well, we can't do it" would have been nice.

Eric's electrical work is museum-quality - every conduit is perfectly straight and labeled. John provided a printed user manual along with his detailed walkthrough. Steven's production estimates were conservative - we're actually generating 8% more than projected. Jim's safety protocols were impressive - his crew used harnesses and guards throughout. Paul made sure our net metering application was approved before installation even began.
