Steel City Solar installed 7 kw at my house in 2024. The entire process went really smooth, and I felt in constant communication from start to finish. From the sales consultation, to the office staff, to the installers I thought everything was really professional and I can’t recommend them enough. Go solar with a local company that won’t leave you hanging!

Being partially deaf as a disabled veteran I can’t make traditional phone calls. I made several attempts by email to get a quote on an expansion on my existing solar system. The only way I received a response was when I filed a complaint through the BBB, where they responded with lie’s saying I made no attempt to call, and that their system has no records of emails… so be prepared to be ignored if you have any disabilities! They make no attempt to be accommodating!

After having the absolute worst experience with another solar company in Pueblo the guys at Steel City Solar reinstilled my faith in solar and I couldn’t be happier. We got the same size system (19.62kw system) with top of the line panels and an attic fan for $20,000 less than the other company. The best part is they communicated every step of the way, passed all inspections first try, and followed through with everything they said. I’m all about ACTIONS over promises and they are as well. From the owners, to the office staff, to the install teams....Trust me when I say they are the BEST!!!! You won’t regret your decision to get your solar system installed with them.

Once we got around the imposters from big dog using steel city solar names and got into contact with Jim/dan, our experience was great. Called me and kept me up to dates and next steps. I financed and I will say it was one of the smoothest loans I have ever done. The crew the owner the sales guy very knowledge and very committed to ensuring my experience was exceptional. It was I have since sent 5 people all of which going solar. Special thanks to dan And Jim answered all my calls and late night text of questions.
