The installation was done professionally, with both the city code inspector and the power company quickly signing off to connect without any issues. The power production has been even better than predicted, and very pleased with the system. They are one of only a few certified installers for the solar panel manufacturer, a big plus to check on with any company you consider. Perihelion will give you a straightforward proposal to install solar at a great price without any confusing financial entanglements. Does not offer lower than market rate loan interest, with you actually paying the real interest up front in the system price. They can refer you to solar friendly financing if needed. Keeping these separate makes it much easier to understand the actual cost of a system. I highly recommend Perihelion to anyone considering installing solar power at their home or business.

After going through several different sales people. Everything went pretty smooth. I am producing more kwh than I am consuming. So far everything is working good. Andy, the owner called making sure everything was working correctly.

I did speak back and forth with an agent and they got my quote within 12 hours. Lady was super friendly, a little slow to respond at times but overall friendly. Price was higher than someone who was more local than they were.

Office staff (Missami) held my hand the whole way. The timeline was as predicted give or take a few days. The only holdup was due to my electric provider and they (not me) did the leg work to resolve any issue. The installers were on time, the work went fast and the lead installer/electrician took all the time necessary to make me feel good about the whole process. My panels, which look great, have been operational for 5 months now with no issues. My electric bill went from $300 in July to $13.16 in August and has been that every month. I received three quotes and was about to accept one when I unexpectedly received a quote from Jill at Perihelion. It was 20k less than the most expensive (from Shine) and almost twice the KW (13.1, Shine quoted 7.1). The components were also high end. I read their reviews and it seemed like I could not go wrong with Perihelion - and I was correct. Their install was professionally done, and I am extremely happy with my purchase. They were an answer to prayer.

After a year of research and 6 months of working with different companies getting multiple quotes, my system was installed and turned on in December. It consists of 57 REC Alpha Black 400 watt panels for a 22.8 Kw system. My total production for January was about 2.1 MWh and my power usage was about 2.2 MWh. I imported 81 KWh from the energy grid overall. Solar production occurred from about 8AM to 5PM each day with about 40% of that time seeing some form of cloud cover. Nearly meeting 100% of my needs in a winter month boads well for the longer sunny days of summer. The total solar system cost to me is about $45,000 after federal tax rebates. My estimated pay off will be conservatively 10 years but with good production it is likely that will be 7 to 8 years. The system turned a $265 electric bill for this month into a $10 electric bill. It's safe to say that by the end of spring I will have enough exported energy credits that I no longer have any electric bill aside from the connection fee. So far I am very happy with my choice to buy these panels.
