Certasun

After researching and getting quotes from several companies I am confident we made the right choice going with Certasun.  After their onsite inspection report I decided to go with more panels so Paul and the team responded quickly with a new plan and quote. Their value on cost per KW was in line with other companies and the equipment brands were what I wanted. Certasun secured paperwork with Illinois Shine, ComEd, and obtained Chicago permits quickly.  Installation took one day, with a follow up.  The install team was professional and friendly. They explained things and left the site very clean.  Unfortunately the Chicago inspector took over a month to respond. Sally and the team stayed on top of it and kept me informed of his arrival.  After passing the inspection, my system started generating electricity the same day.         Throughout the process Certasun was very responsive. They left me confident that the job, and the paperwork, were done correctly.

This company followed thru on everything they said they would do. Not only was the installation very professional but their front office was outstanding. I never had a problem getting a hold of someone to have a question answered. I didn’t know anything about solar but no worries because Certasun handled everything. The company was highly recommended to me and they didn’t disappoint. We would definitely recommend Certasun to anyone interested in going with solar. Great Job Certasun!!!

All the folks I interacted with from getting the quotes, chosing the design and system options, installation, permitting, etc were nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. The process from beginning to end takes a couple months or more, but my system was installed and operational faster than I expected. Some delays in the process came from my side, my misunderstanding. Certasun reps were very understanding and helped me through the entire process. I got a few quotes from other solar installation companies and Certasun had the best finanacial bottom line for me. They told me about rebates/net metering options and educated me on the full amount of SREC and other tax credits I am entitled to and helped me to apply for all of them. Other companies failed in this regard. I strongly recommend checking out and going with Certasun!

I interviewed 5 different Solar Panel Installers and Certasun was by far the most professional, knowledgeable, and responsive, providing a truly comprehensive and complete experience. They answered all my questions in "regular-speak" language, responded incredibly fast to update my proposal when a major solar panel supplier went bankrupt, and guided me through the whole process, including necessary steps for upgrading my electrical system to code, and easy city permit approval. I'm extremely happy with the design and the performance of my solar array. I'd recommend them 100%.

From the analysis through the contract preparation and signing, pre-installation, set up and now usage, my experience with Certasun has been great. Communication was fantastic throughout the process from all involved and pretty much everything has gone to plan during that time. My system went operational recently and I am blown away at my production. Wish I had done it years ago! Only setback was the inspection but that was something beyond Certasun's control and they rectified the issue right away and the second inspection went through without a hitch.

Certasun is an outstanding company to work with. During my bidding process, I did consult with other solar installers. Certasun was by far the best value for my particular project, and after going through the entire process, I'm very happy we chose them. From the very beginning, I felt comfortable working with their salesman, and that level of comfort carried over to their customer service and installers. I was readily kept updated throughout the entire process from accepting their proposal, establishing a loan, the permitting phase, and ultimately the installation and going live on the grid.
