FRUSTRATED

This company has the worst customer service. I have called and emailed numerous times. If I was lucky enough to actually talk to someone, they promised some one be out to fix my problem, which never happened. So now I'm paying for the solar panels and my electric bills. I will never recommend this company to anyone. If there is a class action lawsuit against this company, please add my name to such suit.

POOR COMMUNICATION

I just recently had solar installed with this company, I am now having issues with it being offline and I cannot get a hold of anyone to help me with this. When I call it tells me the phone lines are down and to email. I have emailed them almost everyday these last couple of weeks and have also text the number the used to message me. I have read that the company is no longer open. I honestly want to get rid of it and go with another company but am unsure on how to do so. I guess my next step may be contacting a lawyer to see what my options are. This is something that I am paying for and it doesn't even work.

Don't Waste Your Money... WAY better Solar Installation Teams out there.

I had my system installed in Dec 2018 and activated in Jan 2019. I just finished the replacement of my 4th inverter on my 5 year old system. Without fail, my inverter fails during early/mid-June and it takes 6-8 weeks to get the inverter replaced. Solcius says they will reimburse for lost production and not to worry about how long it takes to get the inverter replaced. I called today, after my system was down for 44 days and they offered me $25. My system is a 34 panel 10KWh system... $25 is insulting. The Solar Edge inverter they keep installing has been garbage as well. Super disappointed in the system and waste of time/money managing it.

Good company

Once the installation was completed, the system performed quite well for a couple years. The SolarEdge Inverter is somewhat of a weak link in the overall system. It fails between 18 and 36 months. I have had a slow turnaround each time I have a failure, averaging 45-60 days offline. I submitted a formal complaint, they did the math of $ lost, and they cut me a check. So far, so good. Hope others with a positive experience chime in with a review. 1.0 Stars is not realistic with 4 reviews.

Stay Away - WORST company

By far this is the WORST company I have ever had to deal with. I have had neighbors asking who installed my Solar and I have to honestly say stay away from Solcius. NO WAY would I ever recommend this company to anyone wanting Solar. Better Business shows them having 152 reviews, 152 complaints in 3 years of which over half are in the last 12 months. The have been business for 8 years. I would argue this is more of a start up company based on my interaction with them. We started the application (Application NVE-113841) for Solar with Solcius after we moved into our home in January of 2022. We did not lease. We paid cash of over $25K with 80% down to this company. On their contract it mentions they have 240 days to have Solar installed pending any problems. I guess this also means due to their incompetence that it may take longer than the 240 days. We are past the 240 days as of this date. The problem is NV Energy in Nevada is telling Solcius that our system size is too large and for them to submit an Engineering Calculation to justify the size. Seems simple enough but after 8 months Solcius still cannot figure it out. In fact in earlier conversations I had with Solcius they wanted to downsize my system and when I asked how would I be compensated for the Solar panels that would be removed for which I already paid their customer service had absolutely no idea. At that I said I have no faith in Solcius that I would be reimbursed and no way am I downsizing. This is your mistake so Solcius needs figure it out! In the meantime I have panels on my roof doing nothing but collecting dust and losing efficiency over time and now we are approaching fall and I've lost all the credits that I should have been getting over the summer months from my electric company. Solcius says they pride themselves on their customer service but at best they are a joke. Yes, when you do call and get someone on the line they are very nice but that is where any help they can give stops. The below timeline says it all! There are never any followups from Solcius customer service on your solar project. In the past 8 months only 2 text message were received from them on an update! YOU as the customer have to be the proactive one and calling weekly for updates and even then their customer service are only reading from the latest "notes" in front of them concerning your application that some manager or supervisor may have input and if you try to ask for a name of a manager or the person working your application they will tell you they can not give out that information. One of my last call was to a "Jose" at customer service on October 17 and he told me the same thing again that I have heard for months that "it is being worked" Worthless information!! In fact he left me on hold for over 22 minutes so he could check on the status until I was disconnected and had to call back. Last call today on October 24 was to a customer service rep "Lovely" and again the same thing. "no update". Timeline as follows: *February 18 2022 Signed contract with Solcius *February 22 2022 Had to re-signed contract due to Solcius needing to make corrections on contract for incorrect solar panel wattage. *April 1 2022 Solar Panels and equipment installed. City of Henderson, Nevada approved Solar install also in April. The whole month of May went by with no updates because Solcius never got around submitting the application. *June 7 2022, Email from NV Energy to Solcius. Interconnection Application NVE-113841 is Awaiting Documentation: Solcius LLC will need to fill out the Non-Incentive Documentation Required form to verify or update information, upload the final building inspection paperwork and any other pertinent documents, and generate an Interconnection Agreement which will require signatures from the host customer, property owner, and system owner. The Interconnection Agreement can either be downloaded, then uploaded with complete signatures, or e-signatures requested using PowerClerk's DocuSign program. These requirements must be submitted within one year of 6/7/2022 or application NVE-113841 will be canceled. *June 22 2022, Email from NV Energy to Solcius. Application Corrections are Required for NVE-113841 60 days from 6/22/2022 or this application will be canceled: "System size is too large. Please submit Engineering Calculations stamped by a Nevada Licensed Electrical Engineer in order to justify system size." *June 25 2022 I emailed Solcius; This is the 2nd time I received email stating errors on our application. No reply from Solcius! *June 27 2022, Email from NV Energy to Solcius. Solcius LLC must log into PowerClerk to review the correction notes in the application, make the required changes, then resubmit the form. "System size is too large. Please submit Engineering Calculations stamped by a Nevada Licensed Electrical Engineer in order to justify system size." Corrections must be made before 8/21/2022 (which is 56 days from now) or this application will be canceled. Again I emailed Solcius customer service on June 27 concerning our connection with NV Energy. Was supposed to hear back with a status and not have heard back. Basically Solcius has dropped the ball twice now getting proper documentation to NV energy. *July 11 2022, Email from NV Energy to Solcius. Solcius LLC must log into PowerClerk to review the correction notes in the application, make the required changes, then resubmit the form. "System size is too large. Please submit Engineering Calculations stamped by a Nevada Licensed Electrical Engineer in order to justify system size." NV Energy will resume review of the application only after corrections are submitted. Corrections must be made before 8/21/2022 (which is 42 days from now) or this application will be canceled. Again another follow up email to Solcius and still nothing heard. This is the third time Solcius dropped the ball. *August 15 2022, Email from NV Energy to Solcius. Corrections must be made before 8/21/2022 (which is 7 days from now) or this application will be canceled. Again a follow up email to Solcius and still nothing heard. This is the fourth time Solcius dropped the ball. And to make matters worse our application is within 7 days of being cancelled *August 22 2022, Email from NV Energy to Solcius. The application for the system was not completed in a timely manner and this application has been canceled. NV Energy CANCELLED our application due to the numerous failures of Solcius to to work the application. *September 24 2022 Solcius had to pay NV Energy an application fee to reinstate our application. As the customer we had to resign new documents. *October 12 2022, Email from NV Energy to Solcius. Solcius LLC must log into PowerClerk to review the correction notes in the application, make the required changes, then resubmit the form. NV Energy will resume review of the application only after corrections are submitted. Corrections must be made 60 days from 10/12/2022 or this application will be canceled. *October 17 2022 Solcius LLC must log into PowerClerk to review the correction notes in the application, make the required changes, then resubmit the form. NV Energy will resume review of the application only after corrections are submitted. Corrections must be made before 12/11/2022 (which is 56 days from now) or this application will be canceled.
