Offering both in person and virtual appointments, Solara Solar will assess your property to create a detailed proposal for you which will include a tailored design, savings breakdown, and a detailed description of next steps. Said proposal will be presented to you by one of our trained and trusted solar advocates. From that point, each homeowner is free and encouraged to look over, discuss, and research said proposal and its guarantees. Once an agreement is sent and signed by both parties, one of our certified site surveyors will do a physical assessment of your home as explained below; - Homes roof (structural integrity and condition to ensure it can support a solar system while abiding by specific township / state requirements for snow load etc) - Homes electrical system (both your homes main breaker size, how many, if any available / free breaker slots to tie solar into homes electrical system.) - Homes wiring age and condition. (At times a main panel upgrade is necessary although we can work that into most solar projects, resulting in a $0 out of pocket cost to the homeowner to go solar) - Any surrounding obstructions that may interfere with solar production (Trees, bushes in the way of meter, ulterior buildings or structures).
