FranklinWH is a research-driven company focused on next-generation residential energy management and storage solution. Founded in 2019, headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area, and funded by Sequoia Capital, FranklinWH’s team has decades of experience in energy systems, from design, through manufacturing, to sales and installation. Seventy percent of FranklinWH employees are in R&D, with more than half of that team holding advanced degrees. Our in-house design team are experts in electrical systems and have a variety of backgrounds including in UPS development. The complete FHP system was designed with both homeowners and our partners in mind, for safety, simplicity and reliability. We are also AVL listed with multiple financial institutions. The great Benjamin Franklin's interest in both sides of electricity is the inspiration for the FranklinWH name. We know that electrical supply needs to be reliable and safe. Great system and energy backup solution (Nova Scotia, Canada)

About 1 year ago I was looking for a battery backup system for my house in Nova Scotia, Canada for my existing PV installation. A local installer told me about a new system from the US (FranklinWH) that sounded very interesting to me. As I was the first one in Nova Scotia, maybe Canada, showing interest in this product I was a little bit unsure to choose this product because sometime it takes longer than expected if a new system needs to be certified by a local regulator (Nova Scotia Power). After deciding, despite potential certification issues, for FranklinWH it was a smooth and fast installation and the integration with my existing PV system was fulfilled without any issues. The system is now running for about 10 months and no problem occurred yet. Since I live in a rural area, power outages sometimes happen but the backup system kicks in very fast without recognizing it. Beside this I'm very happy with the size and style of the batteries and also with the easy-to-use monitoring app. It's definitely not the cheapest system on the market but from my point of view its worth to go for it.

Best AC coupled residential battery storage on the market!

As a customer and an installer of FranklinWH, I cannot say enough about their product and service. I personally have 24kw of solar and 39kwh of FranklinWH battery storage and it has not only provided me with peace of mind but also reduced my monthly utility bill noticeably. On the installation side, being the owner of Circle L Solar in Texas, I have installed dozens of FranklinWH batteries. The technical support team has been amazing, and the commissioning times (sub 30 min) have been a huge bonus compared to other batteries. I highly recommend FranklinWH to anyone looking for an outstanding residential battery system, with great quality and service.

Love the product and the customer service!

I have been very happy with the batteries and how they work in an outage as well as the unparalleled customer service I get from the team at FranklinWH. I love that their battery solution is able to go in spaces that aren't conditioned, and that it can integrate with pre-existing solar or generators. Overall, great product that is really simple to understand and works wonderfully in all kinds of climates!
