Bait and Switch

I am a customer of Green Home Systems. If you are considering this company READ THIS BEFORE YOU SIGN! They installed panels on my home in 2023. My entire experience with them was absolutely garbage. I am posting this to protect the public from making the same mistake in placing trust in this awful company. They have pushy sales representatives that will tell you that the loan they will set you up with is transferrable to new owners if you were to ever sell your house (that is false, they set me up with a lender that did not allow assumptions/transfer). Project managers through the installation are non-existent(I went through 3 of them in 4 months for an install that was supposed to take 3-4 days). The installer pulled off my job due to non payment from previous installations with GHS. They finally returned to finish 2 weeks before being in breach of contract. And finally, when I brought my loan transfer issue to Green Home's attention, their CEO was the only individual that could do anything on my behalf. He did nothing and wouldn't return any of my calls. Noah Rotenberg is as rotten as his last name, and the entire Green Home Systems business model and sales pitch is a bait and switch. Steer clear and do not entertain their lies! If negative stars was an option, that would be my rating.

Terrible customer service

A tree fell on my house causing holes in my solar panel and roof. I called and left voicemails all the time. They would not answer or call back. Harold Shields reached out after seeing my BBB complaint. He stated they would help after I changed it and paid half up front for the work to begin. I changed it, and paid them. Now Harold will not answer any texts or calls. Diana Rosalas apparently is the only person who knows about scheduling. She lies all the time. Stated the work would begin before Oct 30th. Of course it didn't. She will say, "i will update you in a few hours," and after I text again, she doesn't have an update. Now she will not respond to texts or calls.

Worst Company Ever

I would give 0 stars if I could. This company is absolutely despicable. We’ve had an ongoing project for over a year and our panels are still not operating. They are supposed to reimburse for months the panels are not working per the contract we signed and they have failed to uphold that promise. They have also committed fraud and have collected all funds from the loan company for PTO which we do not have. We are in the process of submitting reports to the IL Attorney General and California Attorney General as well as obtaining personal services from a lawyer as it looks like we will have to pay for the panels to be fixed out of our own pocket and we are out thousands of dollars paying a loan on panels that do not operate. Furthermore they do not reply to emails or calls in a timely manner or at all in most cases. Steer clear of this company at all costs and go with a local company!

Solar panels

I had the solar panels installed in 2021 and it's been great, love the electric bill. They are a great company they have always gotten back to me in a timely manner. Very nice people to talk with and helpful. They answered every question I thru at them. The reason I gave them a 4 star rating is because the first company they sent out didn't know that what they was doing. They sent a man named Roy and he was great, he had everything where is was suppose to go.

Everyone at Green Home Systems has been very professional. They made their presentation and answered all my questions immediately. They informed me of the tax benefits, energy savings, incentives, and the Financial. I already viewed my homes design and spoke to the engineering team. We can't wait for the installation to be completed.
