AMAZING SOLAR INSTALLATION!

Had a great experience with the team that installed my solar system! Professional, efficient, and knowledgeable from start to finish. The system works perfectly, and I’m already seeing savings. Highly recommend them for anyone considering going solar. Excellent service all around.

Couldn't be happier choosing Green Home Systems

I recently had solar installed on my home, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience and the end result. From start to finish, the solar company was professional, transparent, and incredibly knowledgeable. The sales rep took the time to walk me through the entire process, explaining the system design, financing options, and what to expect from the installation. There was no pressure — just clear, honest information. The installation crew was punctual, respectful of my property, and efficient. They completed the job faster than I expected, and everything looked clean and well-finished. You can tell they care about the quality of their work. One hiccup in the process wasn’t the company’s fault — it was dealing with the utility company’s interconnection process here in Los Angeles. After the install was done, the utility took longer than expected to approve the system and let us turn it on. It’s frustrating that this part is out of the solar company’s hands, but they stayed in touch with me the whole time, providing updates and helping push things along where they could. It’s clear they’re experienced with navigating the utility’s slow, outdated policies, which helped ease the headache on my end. Now that the system is up and running, I’m thrilled with the results. My electric bill has dropped dramatically, and seeing my solar production in the app feels pretty satisfying. I’m genuinely glad I made the switch — and that I picked the right company to help me do it. If you’re thinking about going solar, I highly recommend this company. They know their stuff, they care about their customers, and they’ll support you even when the utility companies make things harder than they should be.

Outstanding Solar Installation Experience

I recently had Green Home System install a solar energy system at my home, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. The consultation process was smooth, with clear explanations of the benefits, costs, and expected savings. The installation team arrived on time, worked diligently, and completed the project ahead of schedule. They were courteous, kept the work area clean, and ensured everything was up and running perfectly before leaving. Since switching to solar, I’ve noticed a significant drop in my electricity bills, and I love knowing I’m using clean, renewable energy. If you’re considering going solar, I highly recommend Green Home System for their excellent service and high-quality workmanship.

Going Solar

Choosing to go solar was a decision I’m incredibly happy with, and this company made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. From the very first contact, their team was professional, well-informed, and always available to answer my questions. They explained every step of the process, addressed all my concerns, and customized a system that was perfect for my energy needs. The installation crew was prompt, efficient, and left my property in excellent condition. The quality of the solar panels and equipment is exceptional, and it’s evident they use premium materials. Since switching, my electricity bills have dropped significantly, and everything is running flawlessly.

Very happy w my solar

I got quotes from multiple companies but picked GHS because I really liked my account manager - and they didn’t try to give me cheap panels. Was a little frustrated in the middle of the process but it was pretty much the utilities fault. They’re pissed when people go solar so they stall and stall. I hate them. Solar panels look clean on my roof and I’m saving a ton of money. Thanks Rachel!

Terrible customer service

I am so disappointed in the service I have received from Green Home Systems. My system was installed in March 2023, but it only worked for 3 months before the inverter quit. They have not been able to get anyone out to fix it for 18 months, and usually I get no phone calls or emails answered. The inverter manufacturer has a great warranty, but they won't honor it unless I use one of their approved installers, none of which are located anywhere near me. Three of the people who were helping me suddenly were no longer working there without me knowing what happened. I had problems from the beginning: Jeri promised me the world during the sales call--an EV charging system, professional installation no matter how remote I lived, a system that would save me money, and a $1000 rebate if I signed up today. The project manager, Miguel, had a hard time finding an installer in my area--he spent about 2 months trying to find someone. The first one cancelled on the day he was scheduled to come, then Miguel offered to pay my partner (an electrician) and me to do the pre-installation site visit for them so the project could begin. He promised to pay me what it would cost to have an installer come to our remote town to do the visit. We are a couple of hours drive from any sizable town. We sent photos and I drew up a detailed plan of my roof with measurements and sunrise and sunset locations. Of course, I had to fight for the money I was promised. It was supposed to come through PayPal, but then I was told it would be given as a discount on my loan. After 5 months and my complaint to BBB, they finally sent me a check, though it was for a lot less than what they would have paid an installer. Finally an installer showed up, but obviously did not have a lot of experience installing solar panels. He installed mine in the shade and I had to have him re-do it so it got sun all day long. Before that he recommended I put them on a part of my roof that doesn't get sunlight until about 10:30 or 11 am. He had to come back 4 times, the last time was because the job did not pass inspection--he did not use an adequate number of brackets, did not have things labeled properly, and mounted the inverter crooked on my house with insufficient support--it actually fell off the house when the inspector touched it. My partner ended up finishing up so that we could get the permit, because even after the 4th visit, we still did not pass inspection. The installer also put a hole in my new metal roof when the corner of one of the panels landed on it. He patched it with unmatching metal that was screwed on crooked. After almost 2 months they had an insurance company call me to get an estimate going so I can get reimbursed for a more professional repair, but I had to fight for that, too. Then it was discovered they gave us the wrong antenna--we don't have cell service here and they gave us an inverter that requires cell service. I waited for someone to install the proper antenna for almost 2 months. I had to wait a long time for the permit from the power company--I asked Miguel to get started on that because I'd heard it takes a long time, but it took over 6 weeks to get power to the system. My attempts at communication with the company are usually met with no response. Customer service is terrible! I never got the EV charger Jeri promised, and then Jeri, the sales person, says she made a mistake and it should not have been on the offer she sent me. She offered to sell me one for $1500 (said it was worth $2500), but I checked online and the most expensive one I could find sold for $900. She also made a mistake on the loan documents she amended to provide me with 12 panels instead of 10--I only got 10 panels, which is unlikely to meet my electrical needs. She offered to give me the other 2 panels for just $2000 more, but they sell online for less than $400 a piece. The loan company they work with wanted to start my payments a couple of months before the installation was complete, even though Jeri promised that my payments would not start until 60 days after installation. So I had to pay my electric bill on top of the solar loan. This experience has been a huge disappointment from the beginning! After the installation process began, I started getting phone calls from the loan company trying to persuade me into a higher interest loan and pressuring me to take more money out (with higher payments and interest) so I could experience the peace of having more money in the bank. One loan officer actually hung up on me when I insisted I was not interested. I got the sense that Green Home Systems is more about loaning money than professional installation of high quality solar panels.
