Olympus Home

This install was (is) a disaster! Olympus Home started falling apart after day one of my install. What was supposed to take 2 days took over 2 weeks. Electrician left after day one and had mis-ordered many items. Sub-contractor did their best but were equally frustrating because they wouldn’t return phone calls or texts. Eventually system was installed and 9 days later one of my Tesla PowerWalls failed. Tesla reviewed and said unit needed to be replaced under warranty and sent information to electrician on record - who had left Olympus Home and refused to pass information on to customer. 3 weeks later Tesla responded to a request for information and stated they were waiting for the electrician to respond. Tesla sent out a replacement PowerWall and it is now being held hostage by Olympus Home distributor who (I assume) is owed money by Olympus Home that filed for bankruptcy. I am now over 2 months without a working system despite paying cash and will now probably have to pay additional monies to another installer.

From the start of the process with Grayson, the operations process with Michelle, the installation with Zach & Matt, we couldn't be happier! Grayson was the most transparent representative we have ever come in contact with, not just in solar but in any industry. He ensured we understood exactly how the tax credits and utility rebates actually worked when others hadn't been as transparent. Same goes for the financing in explaining how dealer fees directly correlated to interest rates and made sure we understood the pros and cons of each so we could decide for ourselves. He became our project manager and point of contact throughout the entire process and Michelle was great processing our permits and interconnection. Zach and Matt both were great from our site survey to install itself. Everything was done just as they said they would do. We couldn't be happier with our choice to use Olympus Home to install our solar system. Also, we have peace of mind that they are a roofing company as well and if we ever need the roof replaced they can do both the solar detach and reset as well as reroof the home. Again, couldn't recommend these folks more! Proceed with confidence!

From our sales contact Grayson, to the project coordinator Michelle, through the installation crew and electrical crew, lead by Zach, who installed our battery, the process was pretty seamless. From contract execution to final inspection and meter swap we hit the 60 day window as promised. There were some typical communication lapses between installer, electric company, and local inspectors, but nothing that couldn't be overcome with relative ease. Olympus was who we chose after evaluating six installers and we're really happy with that decision! As a consultant in the battery storage industry I'm not your average consumer so I would recommend this team to anyone.

I can't say enough good things about dealing with Olympus Home. I really dodged a bullet by finding this company. They just completed a 30 panel solar install on my roof. From the first day of communication with them until the completion of install they have exceeded my expectations. Their professionalism and customer service is unmatched. Grayson (sales) is transparent, honest, friendly, and professional which is what you want but rarely get in sales. The install team was quick, efficient, professional, and kept me in the loop and answered all questions. Doing my homework on this company and reading reviews helped me make my decision to reach out. Talking to Grayson sealed the deal. And now I couldn't be happier with the whole process. Doug showed up at my door and asked to look at my roof to see if there was damage. Two months later, I received my insurance check and they tore off the old one and put a new one on in less than a day. it’s a beautiful roof and they did a great job cleaning up afterwards. Highly recommend their work!
