We had a very positive experience with Viridis energy. Their panels are of the highest efficiency and still at an affordable price point. The installation process was smooth and Jereme and Matt were professional and quick to respond to questions.

We had a fantastic experience with Viridis, from system design and costing, to install and getting it operational. Jereme and Mike were incredibly responsive to my initial questions and stayed in touch throughout the entire process, effectively coordinating with our City inspection & utility. The entire team was responsive, flexible and a pleasure to work with. I was at first hesitant as the price was competitive and Viridis hadn't done any other projects in Somerville but after talking to a few references in other MA-communities, we decided to take the plunge and I was so happy we did! It was an easy and efficient process and very price competitive.

I liked the entire process, from the first step, talking with Jereme, until the last step, producing clean energy. I recommend Viridis.

Great experience with Viridis throughout the design, permitting, and installation. Jereme was very professional and took care of everything and even upgraded the panels after contracting as they found a better performing one at the same price. Now, we're totally self-sufficient and producing enough to cover house and car charging electricity needs.

TL;DR - I highly recommend Viridis and would most definitely use them again for future solar system installs. Viridis Energy is a no BS, straight forward solar installer. A bit of a breath of fresh air compared to others. It might be because they’re smaller than some of the other companies who quoted my system, but I appreciate that I dealt directly with Jereme the sales manager and Mike the design/technical guy instead of junior sales people with varying knowledge levels. Viridis led with an initial quote that included the best equipment at a very favorable price per watt especially for my relatively small 4.6 kw system. It took a total of 5 months from contract signing to system activation. Parts of the process can be quite mysterious since your solar installer is dealing with the utility on your behalf. Although Viridis had a process diagram that displayed where you were in the process, you never quite knew how long it was going to take to move to the next milestone and what was actually involved. Viridis was always responsive to my queries although I do feel like at times my status queries may have woke the process and helped move it along. Viridis uses their own installation crew. The crew and equipment arrived when scheduled despite the fact it snowed the day before the install day. The Viridis installers aim to please and seem genuinely interested in making sure you’re satisfied with the final system outcome. There was only one minor issue after the install where the Enphase app was displaying the wrong imported and consumed power values, but Viridis quickly resolved the issue by changing some configuration values on the Enphase server so no site visit was needed. My system has been running for a few weeks now and I am very happy with the REC solar panels, the IronRidge racking, the Enphase microinverters/controller/app, and the whole system install. I wish the microinverters had a little better pairing equivalence with the output and power density from the latest greatest solar panels to minimize inverter clipping, but I think Viridis did the best they could. Something to pay attention to when evaluating your solar quotes. I highly recommend Viridis and would most definitely use them again for future solar system installs.
