Green Chile Solar responded to my request for estimate on energysage.com and was by far the lowest cost. I asked a few questions about how to determine what I could expect to produce and Josh Philips, the company owner, confirmed my math sounded right (but he would come to the house, use a drone to take measurements and confirm). They didnt have a lot of reviews but I noticed another review from a coworker of mine. I found out GCS had also done a second coworker's system. Both of those guys have pretty advanced solar knowledge and fully backed Josh and his company. They told me he previously worked for one of the bigger solar install/service companies in NM and has a lot more experience than the age of his new company and small # of reviews suggests. As for my install, from estimate to up and running was about 2 months in early 2024. Install was done in one day. The two months was mostly waiting for approvals. He let me know what to expect with scheduling, and told me if we were on track throughout, handled the permitting and inspection setups, let me know whether or not the inspectors would have to come in the garage or not, etc. On the day of install, his electrician thought one of my fuses wasn't being used & took it out to use the space, Josh had him back out to my house within an hour to fix it. He monitored the system immediately after install and came out on a Saturday morning to troubleshoot consumption monitoring in the app, so we could see exactly what it was producing and make sure all was as it should be and that it would pass inspection as soon as possible. Its been up and running 2mos now with no issues. Definitely recommend Green Chile Solar.

I had an amazing experience working with Green Chile Solar. My inverter had stopped working fully and my original installer is no longer in business. Josh was able to come out quickly to diagnose my system. He went above and beyond when the inverter company was delayed in getting the replacement inverter shipped out, he contacted his representative and was able to get me a replacement within the week. Everything from staying on top of communications and following up with me regarding the replacement inverter was a breath of fresh air compared to other companies I have worked with regarding warranty repairs. I would not hesitate in recommending Green Chile Solar.

My wife and I were very happy with the task that Green Chile Solar did for us. They removed and replaced the solar panels from our roof so that we could replace the roof. Communication was great and the job got done as we needed.
