Hunny Energy/Energy Sage, Started off great with customer service along with the home follow up visit to complete the application process. The technicians that came out to complete the work were also very professional and communicative. The actual completion of the panels went a little longer than expected however, they were very communicative during the whole process. There were a couple of unsatisfactory things that did take place however, nothing that warranted of a negative review.

When it comes to Solar energy, there are many options. This includes the solar equipment, the solar plans offered by SRP or APS, the amount of solar energy you want generate, buy or lease the the equipment, battery back-up or no battery back-up and the list goes on. When I researched Solar companies in the Phoenix area, the list of providers was endless and overwhelming. I went to the BBS, Yelp and an Internet service that lists the top Solar companies in the area. I picked 3 companies to interview from that exercise and compared my options. It boiled down to 3 things: 1) Equipment (brand - warranty for both equipment and installation) 2) Service (how informative and responsive where they answering my questions) 3) Cost When comparing equipment, it was Apples-to-Apples. I was provided spec sheets to conduct a side-by-side comparison. I wanted to go with USA manufactured equipment. All warranties on the equipment was 25 years. Installation warranties varied from 10 years to 25 years. When comparing cost, it varied depending on the equipment. When comparing service (that started with the interview process), one company stood out - Hunny Energy. In the 1st meeting with Hunny Energy, I had already gone through a previous interview with another company, so I understood the Solar complexity. We met with J.J. and we found him very up-front, honest and very knowledgeable in the industry. As we went through the the process, I had many questions that both J.J. and Stuart were quick to respond and answered questions thoroughly. The project manager, Nick, was also quick to respond and kept me up-to-date throughout the project. I would highly recommend doing your homework when researching solar. If you do, you will find Hunny Energy is at the top of the list. Satisfied customer Chad.
