Horrible customer support, inoperable solar system.

In December 2024, we added a 19.32 kW solar panel array and a 30.72 kWh PowerSync Energy Solutions (https://powersyncenergy.com/) six-battery storage system to our home. The PowerSync batteries cost us just under $13,000. When we purchased the PowerSync battery solution, PowerSync advertised that their batteries were compatible with our chosen inverter, the Sol-Ark 15k-2P-N. Once the PowerSync batteries arrived and were installed, we learned that PowerSync had not kept up with its firmware compatibility and that the batteries could not communicate with our inverter until PowerSync released an updated firmware. The PowerSync firmware became available in early March, though unfortunately, when we followed the vague firmware update instructions, our computer could not connect to the batteries. Since early March, I have been emailing and calling PowerSync Energy Solutions for technical assistance and have continued to be ignored by the PowerSync technical support department and their president, Clinton Beiter. We are now left with a $57,000 solar solution that is not functioning as promised. If you are considering a PowerSync Energy Solutions battery storage unit, we highly encourage you to find another reputable brand.
