Workmanship Warranty

Product Warranty: Panels 25-30 years - Inverter 25 years

Workmanship warranty: At Bulldog Electrical Contractors Inc., we offer a 10-year warranty on the installation services relating to our solar systems.

This means that if a solar system installed by us fails or breaks within 10 years due to defective performance of our installation services, we will fix it or replace it.
When you purchase a solar PV system you will additionally benefit from Product Warranties given by the manufacturers on the principal system components (such as solar panels, inverters, and mounting frames).
Details of manufacturer product warranties offered on each product which forms an element of your solar system (such as solar panels, inverters, and mounting frames) will be supplied in your warranty packet provided by Bulldog Electrical Contractors Inc.
However, if a component of your Solar PV System which is subject to a separate product warranty ceases to work, Bulldog Electrical Contractors Inc will assist you by:
• Advocating on your behalf with the manufacturer providing the product warranty.
• Replacing any component determined to be defective under such product warranty.
Bulldog Electrical Contractors Inc. reserves the right to charge a fee for labor and additional materials involved in such a replacement.
Manufacturer warranties are transferable by the original purchaser of the solar system to any subsequent purchaser of the property at which the solar system is installed.
• Effectiveness
This warranty will go into effect once all payments have been received in full and the title to the solar system has passed to you.
Warranties will no longer be valid and become null and void and Bulldog Electrical Contractors Inc. will cease to have any liability in the event that:
• any person not authorized by Bulldog Electrical Contractors Inc. amends, any repairs to the system, adapts or interferes with the installed Solar PV system.
• Homeowner fails to comply with all reasonable instructions of Bulldog Electrical Contractors Inc (written or verbal) in relation to the operation and care of the solar system.
• Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
• repaired breaks or any joins to sensor wire, or any damage caused to sensor wire
• your existing electrical installation, wiring or fuse box
• normal wear and tear
• any malicious damage or neglect
• damage caused by animals or pests
• corrosion, oxidization, discoloration, mold, or damage caused from mold
• damage caused by ‘acts of God’, improper voltage or power surges,
accidents, or other acts beyond our reasonable control
