Solar by Ecos was founded by Tony Sweazy and Chris Zitelli. Tony and Chris come from the world of construction. Specifically, they worked as energy efficiency and sustainability consultants and verifiers prior to starting a solar business. We have also added a licensed electrician to our team and an assistant for him for our fulltime staff. It is required in the state of Kentucky to have a licensed electrician on site at all times.

Quality work, fair price

Tony and his crew installed a solar carport for us several years ago. Despite never having installed one before, they did a great job. I would definitely use them again.

Total satisfaction

Solar by Ecos installed my system. From the beginning to the end of the installation it went flawlessly. We are extremely happy with the result and professionalism of this company. I would recommend this company over all others, especially the non local contractors. Our monthly bills are actually lower than projected. I will be using them again for my lake house this summer or fall.

Thorough and Educated

They were very professional from the knowledge of the local market, rule and regulations, to the install and explaining the different facets that come with owning a PV system. The install was quick and easy, and I am able to keep track of the production on my phone.

Excellent Service, Great Follow Up.

Tony and Chris installed ~9.5kW of solar panels on my 1888 home about four years ago. They are still trucking along at peak efficiency. I have a background in renewables and power electronics, which I'm sure is irritating to other professionals, but they both were more than happy with my involvement in the design process. They did a wonderful job on the install. Were extremely careful to not damage my new roof, ensured that the site was looking great before they left, and followed up promptly with any questions I had. I ran into two enphase inverter failures since then (lightning/surge), and they were very quick to help me navigate enphase's warranty process. I have recommended them to a half dozen other friends, all of which are also very happy with their system install and performance.
