Grateful Sun Energy

I found Grateful Sun through an internet search, and was originally a bit skeptical about the offer, and what type of program this would include. They explained the program in a way that made sense to me, and thoroughly evaluated my options. My home happens to be in a perfect south-facing situation, so no visible panels from the front, and all day exposure to energy. With two fully electric vehicles, and one plug-in hybrid, along with an electric garage heater for the winter, I am a larger than average consumer of electricity. After mapping out the plan for the install, we went through the entire program, and got installed with net metering through ComEd. In addition, but not directly tied to Grateful Sun, is that I also needed to upgrade my electric panel, and add a sub panel to supply the vehicle charging. All was completed according to budget, and I am seeing real savings on my electric bills each month. Highly recommend!

The team that installed the solar panels and breaker box did outstanding work and great job communicating and clean up.

This process was so easy because Erik and his team explained everything and walked us through the entire process. The app shows us how much energy we are both using and producing whenever we want to see that. It also shows us how much energy we used and produced for the year. I was worried that the panels would be unsightly but as they are flat, they really don’t stand out from the roof very much. The installation was quick and easy and the workers cleaned up after themselves. We are looking forward to our continued partnership with this company and to watching our savings grow over the years!
