What You Need to Know
Description:
SELCO Municipal power company limits to 10kW AC, so we installed a 12.03kW DC system to maximize profits.
My Motivation:
Offset power costs from electric vehicles. Increase value of house.
Advice:
The paperwork took almost 5 months to process. We applied for a MA state rebate and a SELCO municipal rebate. Both required review and sign off from the MA Dept of Energy. Lots of time just waiting, with little or no ability for the installer to provide progress notes. Once the last bit of paperwork was finished and the rebates were locked in, the panels were installed in a few days.
Experience with Installer:
NuWatt were fantastic and responsive and helped us get thru the long months of silence from the government bureaucracy.
