We handle all aspects of the installation process from concept and engineering to permitting and incentives. Over Solar Liberty’s 21 years of operation, our sole focus has been solar energy for the benefit of residential, commercial, government and non-profit customers.

NYSERDA and the U.S. Department of Energy awarded Solar Liberty with the Outstanding Achievement Award for being the Largest Solar Electric Installer in New York State. The entire Solar Liberty team is committed to promoting energy independence through the widespread installation of grid-tied PV solar energy systems.

Our work is completed with experienced internal personnel ranging from our highly trained sales staff to our electrical and mechanical engineers, project managers, foreman, installers and electricians.

2 Mega Watt Surplus in 4 Years

Solar Liberty installed 16 panels in 2020. The install went quickly and was done neatly. They were able to route the wiring through the attic and down to the basement without external conduit which I appreciated. It took a little while to get started after contract signing but the pandemic may have effected the timeline some. Solar Liberty worked around the roof area I allotted them without requiring me to trim my trees and I still have a 2 mega watt surplus since installation. So they could compete the installation in one day, I had to go to the electrical supply warehouse and pick up the correct wire for them. It was mildly inconvenient but less inconvenient than having another day of installation. Overall I was pleased with their work and have recommended them to others since.

No Follow Thru

Selected company, five emails, sent electric bill, told would contact in 1 -2 days, no contact in 3 weeks. We will not select this company.

Wonderful Customer Support

Solar Liberty worked diligently to secure permitting for a ground mounted system that the local municipality did not want to grant. The process delayed the project over 9 months, but in the end, it was approved. The support that Solar Liberty provided throughout the process was fantastic. Highly recommend.
