YellowLite

I had solar installed my Yellowlite and have been happy with it. It’s great that they do it all - design, install, talk to the utility. (Some other companies that I had quote it shopped out the install work. Which made them more expensive) Yellowlite also does the servicing. And they are an established company I trust to be around if/when I need something. I had 2 minor issues with my system after install. They came out and fixed it for free under the warranty. My only “complaint” is that I didn’t get more panels. I plan to use Yellowlite to expand my system some day!

My experience with Yellowlite has been very good thusfar. Installation of 28 panels was done in two days. Electrical work took another two days. I’m currently waiting on completion of the final step, installation of an EV charger. It took five months for the install to begin, there were some delays as my assigned Project Manager left the company and the company was experiencing some issues with newer Tesla hardware on some jobs. Their bid was the most competitive from a pricing standpoint. I paid a bit extra to switch from their original bid using 2 Tesla inverters (13 year warranty) to 28 Enphase micro inverters on the roof with 30 year warranty (f Elon Musk).

We reviewed several residential solar companies that work in Southeast Michigan. These companies had installed systems for some of our neighbors/friends. I did not expect that YellowLite would work in our area. However, my brother who lives in Ohio had his solar system installed by YellowLite a few years ago and has been very happy with the installation, system performance and service. I contacted YellowLite to see if they would service our area and found that they have done a number of installations in Michigan. We chose to work with YellowLite based on referrals we got from my brother and others with whom we had spoken We’ve been very happy with the planning process, installation and system operation since connecting with our utility 5 months ago. They have been quick to respond to all of my questions and I have found that all of the employees with whom I have been in contact are vey knowledgeable and professional.

Two years ago I selected YellowLite to install an 11KW system with Powerwall battery. The design and installation was more involved than average, and they did a great job working through all the issues and options. The system has been running well ever since. Last year I found a follow-up issue related to trenching, and YellowLite were responsive & made several trips out to correct the problem. My experience with them has been very good. I worked with Brian in sales and Jerome was my project manager.

Thanks to YellowLite, the entire process of installing our solar system was flawless from the beginning to the end of the install. All of our questions were answered, and we had many, by their team of salespeople and installers. There was absolutely no pressure from them at any time to “seal the deal.” The entire process, all permits, etc, etc, was entirely handled by them which made the whole process happen without incident. Now we are enjoying the benefits of free electricity as well as making an example to our community of ways to soften our carbon footprint, all thanks to the professionalism of YellowLites’ fantastic team. You will not be disappointed if you go with YellowLite for your solar installation project.

44 panels installed in 1 day, cleaned up, hauled everything away. The electricians were excellent, everything looks very professional. When it was time to take pictures of the registration stickers, which are black and can only be seen when the flash goes off, it was very difficult to find the sticker because the units were installed so close together. I would suggest taking the pictures prior to installation. Very pleased with everything. It's so cool to see the production each day. Help save the planet.
