I contracted with NRG Clean Power to install Enphase battery backup in two locations. Although the design process took longer than expected, the installations were done professionally and on a timely basis. I was particularly impressed with the permitting and SGIP incentive processes done by Bill Russel. He’s an asset to NRG and is a primary reason I would choose NRG again.

I worked with Frankie Gutierrez and was impressed with him and system configuration. Based on the configuration, I signed the contract. However now it looks all the claims he provided for solar configuration were false and he basically snatched the project from another consultants. 1) He clearly told me that you would be able to install Tesla on the outside space which I provided him before contract. He even provided some pictures of your other installation. Now, they saying it is only possible in garage which I told no from the beginning. The other consultants were saying the same thing from the beginning. 2) He provided first year annual production of 9004 KWH with 12 REC 460 panes and Tesla; however, his engineering team came up annual production of 8285 only with the same system. The same lower figure was from other consultants. If the difference would have been 100-300KWH, I would have ignored but it is a big difference. In earlier email, he mentioned they had alternative better solution and want to discuss but now again nothing new. Now he is suggesting 14 panels to meet yearly KWH with higher cost. 3) He mentioned that you he design system with Tesla using only 2 or 3 panels per MPPTs for better diagnosis in case of issue. However, his engineering team provided the design using only 2 MPPTs. Now he is not meeting the terms we agreed for the contract. The response of engineering team was very poor.
