Quality & customer service

I bought my system (8) years ago from Solar Advantage. The system has failed. There are (32) panels on the roof and it is only working approximately 33% efficiency. I called Solar Advantage for customer service to have my system serviced and no one returns my call. I found out the system is not working properly from another solar company. Do not do business with them!

Great customer service!

Great customer service! Julia from Solar Advantage was very responsive to send out a service technician in a quick and efficient manner! My issues were solved to my satisfaction! Highly recommend this company!

Got my panel from solar advantage and they don't provide any customer service

I got my panels installed with Solar advantage. I have been having problems with my system for past 4 months. Inspite of calling them repeatedly, i have not heard back from them . I am here to get direction and support from the Energy Sage community, cause they recommended Solar Advantage to me

Solar failure

I had Solar Advantage remove my solar panels so that I could have a reroof done. They reinstalled the solar panels using their rail system which resulted in water intrusion that subsequently resulted in black mold. There was constant communication back and forth where Solar Advantage refused to take responsibility despite their insurance siding with me. So, since 2019 they have never returned to reinstall the two solar panels that had to be removed to seal the hole that created the water intrusion.

Disappointed

I should have read the review more carefully before deciding on using Solar Advantage. First, they were not careful enough to learn about our local utility company's requirements and they have to redo many works, resulting a few months of no production after installation. The rep verbally agreed on compensating the loss but disappeared. Next, the actually solar production is way below the estimate they designed (getting ~5MWh vs the estimated 12Mwh). The system has been installed over a year now and the saving is not enough to justify the investment. I'm extremely disappointed with my whole experience. I would not recommend them to anyone.
