Extremely knowledgeable, responsive and excellent service!! Walked me through the entire process and always available to offer guidance and answer questions. I started my exploration into solar by interviewing and comparing several companies, including cost, experience, knowledge. I stopped looking and comparing after I found SolShine!

We built a "solar shed", like an open car port, adjacent to our home and installed 24 solar panels on the roof and 24 backup batteries underneath. (We are in construction.) SolShine installed the inverter and electrical hookups which we were not qualified to do. The system went fully operational in April 2024. With the energy we fed back to the AEP grid, our electric bill dropped from $450 in March to $26 in April. SolShine is the only trustworthy Company we found in the Roanoke, Va area that knows what they are doing in the area of solar. A lot of companies have sprung up advertising solar for homeowners, but the systems don't have any real solar capacity. Beware cons looking for a quick buck, and do your research.

To begin with, Solshine really impressed me when they brought their entire installation team to meet with me when they started the project. I talked with everyone who worked at my home. It didn't seem so important at the times, but it has made me really comfortable with them. They were all professional, knowledgeable, and really pleasant. Also, the owner came to meet with me originally to get the details for a proposal, also impressing me; he wasn't *just* a salesman. He is a engineer with lots of experience! They system was priced about $1000 cheaper than any other other quote I got, and it included 2 more panels than other proposals. Finally Solsine's installation included a newer inverter technology than the other proposals. Solsine's work was excellent; their product is superior; their price was better and consisted of more panels for a lower price. I cannot say enough good about their work.

We loved working with Solshine. Their communication, planning, and customer service was top notch. They made sure that our solar PV system met our needs and helped facilitate the process with AEP and a third party SREC company. We are getting ready to also add an EV charger system, working with Solshine.

I received a valid analysis of my costs and possible returns so that I could understand my "investment" and make an appropriate purchase decision. I also liked the fact that the panels were not coming from China. They were truthful in their scheduling when the work was to be done but my wait was longer than I wanted. Installation was clean and completed in two days. Their product includes an app whereby I can follow my energy usage and allows me to check the status of my panels. Checking the status, I discovered an inoperable panel which turned out to be a connection issue. SolShine fixed it the next day. They also follow up with an annual system checkup. Personnel are friendly and knowledgeable.

My wife and I are so pleased that we chose to have Solshine energy install the solar panels on our home roof here in Roanoke city. Rick Brown and his excellent crew from SolShine Energy have been incredibly responsive, efficient, and professional. They have exceeded our expectations in every way, and I was so pleased that I also recommended them to our neighbors, who also installed panels on their home and have been pleased as well. They have my highest recommendation, and it is great to have a local company available — close to home.
