Gold Coast Solar

I’ve gone with Gold Coast because John seems nice and responsive when we started the process. After two year’s, I reached out to John for service and maintenance and received no response. My panels stopped working by middle of the 4th year and we don’t even know why. The apps doesn’t work. And I emailed John again, still no response! When you think a family business will care for their customers, this company seems to ONLY respond to new customers request. DISAPPOINTED!!!

John and the team at GoldCoast Solar were simply fantastic. Not only did they have the lowest price quote, I was BLOWN AWAY by the incredible follow-up and experience working with them. John worked with me to assess the available panel space on my spanish clay tile roof and select higher output Solaria panels to get the highest possible production. As part of the quote, they threw in a Tesla charger on the house which was something I was going to do anyway and they were super accommodating - "sure, no problem we can do that"! Post install I called them twice - once almost a year later to fix the Tesla charger housing and some other nitpicks from LA Country for the charger permit, second about 3 years after service, my SolarEdge inverter crapped out. I've heard many horror stories of dealing with this situation as many installers are no longer around and/or unwilling to stand by their service and to process warranties. Gold Coast solar was out within 24 hours of getting notified and processed and installed the replacement on warranty. Really happy with Gold Coast Solar and a very positive experience. Stand up guys who show up on time, do a great job, and walk through any questions/issues you have.

John at Gold Coast made the entire process clear and easy. He spent the time to answer all the questions that we had and ensure that we knew what would happen and when. The installation was seamless and now we've got solar! It was an outstanding experience. John was available and responsive throughout the process. I highly recommend Gold Coast.

Gold Coast Solar installed my system on Tuesday, 5/14/2019. It's a 6.6 kw system with Panasonic panels and a SolarEdge inverter. They began work at approximately 8:30 am and we tested the system operational at approximately 2:30 pm. John Christ has an amazing, professional crew and they did an excellent job with the installation. Once the final inspection is complete, the system will go online. I'm extremely pleased with the results and I am looking forward to producing my own energy! - Steve K.
