We hired RayWell Solar to install our solar panel system for us at our home in rural SC. There really weren't companies in this area of the state, any company was going to be traveling a few hours to drive to my home. Kasey and Matt at RayWell were fantastic to work with through the entire project. I was concerned that traveling 2.5 hours each way would affect their ability to get appointments with them. We had meetings at 9 am and they were here on time. They must have been leaving Charleston quite early. The crew they had install the framework the solar panels mount to came out on Friday and Saturday in light rain to erect the framework for our array. In addition to that dedication to the job, the framework was perfectly straight and level. The installation of the panels to framework and the inverter install went smoothly. Kasey and Matt dealt with all permits and inspections with our electric company and county code enforcement. We have been incredibly happy with dealing with RayWell. They answered all our questions at every stage of the project. It was completed in a timely manner and we are looking forward to our next electric bill to see the savings. We chose to use a net metering system that sells our unused power to our power company vs a battery "off grid" system. Thanks Kasey and Matt, you guys rock!

Raywell installed our solar system about 4 years ago, including a battery backup. The system initially worked well and we were happy with its function, but Raywell's service has gotten progressively worse since installation. We have had increasing numbers of panels fail, and have e-mailed and called numerous times with no response from Raywell. As of a couple weeks ago, 14 of our 50 panels were no longer functioning. Most recently, we had a small electrical fire that, as we have been told by electricians and another solar installer, resulted from faulty wiring when our solar system was installed. An electrician who subsequently addressed the problem told us that we were fortunate to be home at the time of the event, or we may have had a catastrophic house fire. We are now spending several thousand dollars to repair the damage and get the system functioning again. I strongly recommend avoiding Raywell Solar.

Kasey Harwell did a fantastic job with our solar. We compared a couple of different companies and Raywell stood out by a mile. Kasey's quote optimized placement and number of the panels while providing in depth information on function, cost, rebates, etc. Their competitor had haphazard placements, recommended more panels than necessary to offset our costs and generally seemed unorganized in comparison. I realize the quote is only one piece, but I can confirm Kasey delivered in installation, follow through and project management as well. We're very happy with Raywell's work and would highly recommend them.

Kasey Harwell, the owner of Raywell Solar. was terrific from the beginning of this project to the end. Kasey never left us hanging or with unanswered questions, and handled all of the required permits and inspections. We wanted our roof replaced because it was almost ten years old and we didn’t want to have to de-install/reinstall the solar panels in a few more years. Raywell Solar replaced our entire roof and did an outstanding job. The following day the solar install started and finished. We had twenty-one solar panels installed on the rear of the house. All of this work – the roof and the solar panels was done with the temperature in the high 90s every day, and these men worked from morning until dark. They knew precisely what to do. After another inspection the electrician installed the wiring and connecting devices. The inspector from the city said the attic wiring was one of the most professional installations he’d ever seen. After final inspections Dominion Energy installed two new meters and hooked us up to the grid – now we’re solar powered! Kasey Harwell came over the next day and connected the solar system to our wi-fi and now I can check it from any of our computers or phones. This entire process went very smoothly and quickly thanks to the City of Charleston, Dominion Energy, and most all because of the dedication of Raywell Solar. It was like ballet only better.
