EasTex Solar

We had the pleasure of working with Eastex Solar (more specifically Reece) for our solar system. Reece listened to what we were looking for and answered all our questions. We were particular, to say the least, about the aesthetics of the system and Eastex Solar did great on the install and the solar system looks fantastic! Their team knocked it out quick too! It has been roughly a year since the install and we very pleased with how our energy bills have been looking, especially with the rates increasing. The solar system is still working great and excited to see what the future has in store. Pretty much maintenance free! Haven't had to do one thing as far as maintenance. We are happy we came across a local company that does a great job. They take pride in their work and it shows. Thank you Reece and Eastex Solar for the awesome solar system!

I visited with several solar vendors looking for a great company that was based in our state, discovering Eastex Solar which we highly recommend. Eastex's approach to business and their value of relationships provided us the reassurance that we could be first time solar users, with the confidence that we found a partner that would assist us through the full process. They came to our location for a site review and helped me understand how the equipment worked, educated us on the install process and shared their knowledge of which was of great value. This transparency and knowledge transfer made selecting Eastex Solar simply as we forged a relationship with Reece which we did not experience with vendors. Eastex Solar provided a great summary document which defined the exact items we needed, from Texas manufactured panels to the battery system which supports our electric needs in the evenings. Communication was excellent as we moved from the design to the sales closure. The honesty and commitment to our project continued during the install, working with our electric provider to help us gain rebates and continues as we learn details from Eastex months after the installation. There is no doubt that we selected the right company, one that continues to help monitor our system for performance, answers questions about the app that reports system details to us, and is glad to see our results of not paying an electric bill since the system went live as we export more power to the grid than we import. Very glad that we found Eastex Solar and a company that we know will support their system - and us!

After getting 9 bids on Energy Sage, EasTex Solar was one of the most affordable and quickest to respond to my questions. They worked with me through a few quirks, took care of all the city permitting and delivered a system that was exactly as agreed upon. No extra fees or surprises. I love the REC Alpha panels and Sunny Boy inverters. Big

Short answer: if I could give them 6 stars, I would. These guys are incredible. If you have any questions as to which installer to choose, CHOOSE THEM! Their prices are incredible and the equipment, knowledge, and expertise are more than stellar! Long answer: They are a small family business and they handle it extremely well. I got into contact with them through energy sage. Cal, the father, and Reece, the son are incredibly helpful in answering all of my questions, sometimes several times. Tx energy companies are increasingly difficult to wrap your head around but once you do, and again, they explained it several times, it’s easy. The installation went smoothly, and PTO was granted before the panels were even put on! Yay! The ONLY thing I would say is bad(?) is come to install day, last Wednesday according to date written, it was canceled due to weather (which is totally understandable by the way :)) and rescheduled for Friday. Come Friday, due to some issue with a previous install, which I believe was manpower-related, they were only able to install the electrical and installed solar on Saturday. Overall, I think it was a 10-day swing from the original quoted date. Bad thing for me, but they’re a small business so I truly do get having to push some things around to make everyone happy. Overall, I would recommend ANYONE go with this company. I promise you, you will NOT be disappointed. I went with TXU solar’s 24-month plan.

Very impressed with Eastex Solar's quality of work. Reece and Cal are the face of the company. Both made my experience one worth talking about. Reece did the daily correspondence, answering all my questions and concerns. Cal the owner ensured all aspects of the install were done to my satisfaction. Austin (the electrician) was who I saw most. His attention to detail and professionalism made this experience the best decision I ever made. We had two separate 12k systems installed on our property (two meters). We went with two SolArk 12k inverters, two Fortress 18.5k batteries and 64 ground mounted REC 370AA Black panels. Each meter had 1 SolArk, 1 Fortress Battery and 32 panels... To date no issues at any level. Our current utility bills are a +17 on the shop and a -20 on the house. Wow last year it was 300 ish. So all thing being equal it cost us - 3 dollars to run our house hold. If your thinking of putting in a Solar system don't wait. Everyday you see sun in the sky, its dollars out of your pocket. I am very pleased I went with a local installer and not a large corporation. Reece was always very responsive to my questions and never pushed me. They did professional work for the best price and I would recommend them to anybody looking to get solar.
