Price per watt is reasonably competitive with the high quality panels, inverters, and batteries they offer. Their response to my questions were immediate and detailed, and were courteous to call.

Decided to install solar for tax incentives towards the end of the year. I received many quotes but stated they would not meet the deadline and were much higher priced. Additionally, I requested a particular LG panel which no one else quoted me for excempt Del Sol Energy. Pete with Del Sol guaranteed the install to complete prior to the end of the year. Additionally, he priced my LG 315W panels well below the competitors and included 30 year warranty of the full install. His prompt and professionalism is unmatched. He diligently worked to get the system installed and when the installers showed up, they had the 21 panels installed in under 8 hours; amazing! Additionally, they provided all the documentation required by my HOA and even painted all the conduit to match the color of the house (Bonus)! I stand by this local company as they will be around for many years to come.

EnergySage was very helpful in keeping the offers focused and simple. I chose DelSol because for many reasons. Pros: Del Sol Energy Advisor Pete Jacoway answered all my questions and made the initial process very simple. Their financial partner Sungage accommodated my needs of low interest and short term pay off. Because of the research resources provided by EnergySage, I determined Del Sol installs the best overall equipment, LG Panels and the Enphase Inverter is upgrade-able to for future battery needs. Del Sol configured a larger and more efficient panel configuration for my home, resulting in higher output at a better price. Enphase app is excellent. Del Sol is a local business. Cons A week prior to the first installation date, I still needed HOA approval. Del Sol assumed i would not have approval in time and rescheduled the installation without notifying me, When they did not show on the scheduled date, I was very disappointed for the missed communication and to their surprise I had approval in time. A day after installation, Del Sol came back to replace a panel they determined to be faulty. The "con" was there wasn't any communication of the come back. On the Enphase app I can see the performance of each panel, I currently have a panel "under-performing". Del Sol is planning to replace panel, as Enphase said it isn't a microinvertor issue. It has been two weeks since I reported the issue, but I wonder if it had been a problem since installation (10/8). Thankfully, because they installed Enphase micro-inverters. the other panels are performing well.

Having worked as an engineer and financier in the solar industry for many years, I did a great deal of research when it came time to choose a solar installer for my own home. After considering many companies online, and interviewing 5, I chose Del Sol for their honest, straightforward approach, ability to answer my detailed technical questions, and competitive pricing. The system was installed professionally and Del Sol went the extra mile to run conduit cleanly and paint it to match my home. Soon after installation, I began to notice some unexpected problems with my inverter, a key component of the system. When it became clear that it would take a very long time to resolve these problems with the inverter manufacturer, Del Sol stepped up and replaced the inverter with a system from a different manufacturer at their expense. I was very impressed with their approach on this. I highly recommend Del Sol for their honesty, integrity and competence.
