They installed my 8.64 KW system and it’s running perfect. I produced surplus clean energy last month. Ross and crew have been great to work with. I highly recommend them.

Been dealing with this company for over a year and a half to have our complete system installed and still havent had our battery installed. While part of that can be blamed on the company that they ordered from, the complete lack of being forthcoming with information is completely unprofessional from Solar Tech. It was my mistake to trust Ross when he asked me to release the funds for the battery even though it had not been installed. There is a reason that finance companies ask you not to release funds unless all of the work has been completed. Will never make that mistake again. Your service with them will probably be much better if you are within the area of their office. I have been repeatedly told that I have to wait until their team is in my area for another install in order to complete a service call. After months of complaining about the amount of my electric bill, they installed CT clamps back in April to see the amount of energy being used, produced, imported and exported. They stopped working the day after they were installed and it took 8 months of constant badgering to get them to come out and fix it. My request kept being pushed back saying that they will do it when they install my battery instead of just fixing it. Literally the only good thing about this company are the actual installers. Every crew that has come has been amazing. If only the management was as well. One final note. They offer their customers a gift card if they go to various websites and leave 5 star reviews so another thing to keep in mind while reading them. TLDR: Skip them and go with someone else. You will be glad you did.

SolarTech Elec wasn't the cheapest option, but after over a dozen estimates, I was convinced they had the best combination of equipment, price, and service. The initial installation process was a little disheartening; the panels I agrèed upon were not in stock. Ross, the owner, asked me if he could substitute a better, more efficient panel, for the same price. Well, of course I was on board with that. Then, the panels sat on my driveway for about a month while permitting issues were resolved. Again, not optimal. The installation team was terrific; Chris, the foreman, was great. He explained everything to me that I needed to know, and patiently answered my questions. After install and more permit and inspection issues, my solar was up and running. Prior to solar, if I ever got a bill less than $400, it was celebration time. After 2 full billing cycles with solar, my bill is $28.28 each month! I am now a solar believer! If not for the permitting/inspection issues, U would've given them 5 stars. Some of the problems were SolarTech Elec's fault, some were my city's. Overall, I am pleased with the experience and would recommend anyone give SolarTech Elec a look.

Wow, what can I say. Before talking to Ross I had a few bids on EnergySage that I thought were really good. It was coming up on the end of the year and I knew it was somewhat of a time crunch to get everything finished, this was before the Gov extended the federal tax rebate. He blew away the competition. He installed top of the line LG 340w all-black panels, for the price of his competitors offering chinese panels. I expected when his crew showed up to be less than desirable workers because of the deal I got. Chris and his installation crew were professionals. Answered all of my nerd questions with a high level of tolerance and confidence. I had a good feeling about their knowledge level and competence. It took the county quite a while to close out the inspection and the electric company to approve net metering due to covid. I couldn't be happier, my last electric bill was $0. I love that SolarTechElec monitors wattage output and will replace panels that aren't providing appropriate power.

They were on point with the install. The only delay was with duke energy. Now everything is ready and working good.
