Revolution Solar

I appreciate the solar install revolution did for me. I also appreciated how they helped combine sequence this after my roof was replaced. They also were responsive to questions I had weeks and years later. Strong recommend!

I did 6 months of research for solar panel installation for my residential property and I used one other solar panel installation company in the past. I looked at companies including Ipsun, Solar Solution, GreenBriliance, Nova Solar, Tesla, Solar City, and Sunpower. I spent anywhere from one to three hours discussing proposals with four of these companies' representatives. I wanted a solar panel system to save and make money, help reduce carbon emissions and to do my part in making us more energy independent. I noticed positive reviews for many companies, but Revolution Solar's reviews seemed to be the highest (just about all 5 stars on two different websites and a total of about 35 reviews). One other solar company that I talked to stated that Revolution Solar was a good company. My experience after using Revolution Solar was that they were 5+++ stars. They were excellent! First, they gave me the best price ($3.10 $/watts). (This is the total cost of the project divided by the wattage of the solar system.) This of course is for the type of system I wanted because you don't want to compare apples to oranges. I used Enphase 8a microconverters and Hanwha Q Peak Duo Blk-G10+ panels. This type of system is, from what I understand, a very good middle grade system. Second, I got an excellent design that would maximize the solar output of the system. In my opinion, Revolution does better in the design and construction of the system because they don't erect cookie cutter systems. Instead, they constructed a solar system that best fit the parameters of my project to achieve the most sound design and efficient performance. Revolution is not just a solar installation company. Instead, as they stated, they are a solar installation company with a construction background. Third, compared to the other company I used in the past, Revolution completed the job in less than 1/3 of the time. My other project took over 6 months from signing the contract to having the system fully functional. Revolution Solar took less than 2 months from signing the contract to having the system fully functional. That in my experience was amazing! Fourth, all follow up service has been exceptional. I have reliable contacts I can communicate with to resolve any issues and if needed, a Revolution representative has someone at my house for service within one to five days. All issues btw were user error and one blown fuse. My house is a DC row house and the system has been in operation for 7 months and I am totally happy with my electric bill which has been 0 except for the $18 PEPCO grid charge for 6 of those 7 months. I am also satisfied with the SRECS that the system has generated, which to date have been eight from April to September. I would highly recommend Revolution Solar and I would use Revolution Solar in the future!

After reviewing nearly every solar installer in the DMV and nationally I chose Revolution Solar. I was not disappointed. There team if very responsive, flexible, and they know the various solar products and ins and outs of installation. Everything was very efficient. I have had my solar for nearly a year and I no longer have an electric bill and I make money off the SRECS.

From start to finish, Revolution Solar was fantastic. They dealt with the entire process, including permitting, PSC registration and SREC coordination, which made everything smooth and easy. They have provided all follow-up service to modify and maintain my installation. Very pleased! PS: And the SREC checks just keep on coming!!
