I like the way they walked me through all the paperwork. The installation went smoothly. We're almost 3 years after the installation with no issues. The roof estimated size didn't match reality. The difference was a few inches, but we have to meet code. The additional panels were installed on adjacent roof sections. Hopefully the measurement tech has improved in the last few years. I don't get follow-on sales garbage. I love that.

We are entirely happy with the service and performance of rooftop panels from Minnesota Solar and More. Their workers were polite, efficient, and neat, and we are glad to do our bit for clean energy. Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic company and people. They believe in what they do! Clear communication, several options and solutions explored for our needs, talked and walked us through everything. Difficulties came up with utility company when applying for interconnection; MN Solar stuck with us and advocated strongly through the entire ordeal. Installation was extremely smooth and efficient even during a heat wave. Unforeseen issues with electric during install were resolved without delay. System is up and running! Would very highly recommend!

Over a year ago I made the decision to put solar system up. Was pretty excited to do this. Unfortunately the company took my down deposit and didn't do any of the work. Was pretty sour on solar companies at that time and didn't plan on pursueing it. Several months later decided to look into solar again. Talked to several companies and after doing some research on them discovered red flags with many of them. Then I came across MN Solar from a referal of a friend. All I can say about them is WOW! They restored my faith in solar companies. Everyone I talked to from the intitial call, the presentation from the owner, the intallers were simply amazing. Their communication with me was detailed from the begining to the end. When they were doing my install, the crew showed up in the morning and told me what they had planned for the day and at the end of the day they would tell me what they had planned for the next day. If your looking to do solar, MN Solar is the company you want to work with.

From start to finish our experience with MN Solar was fantastic. From the initial sales contact through to the day that we connected to the grid the team at MN Solar was professional, efficient, responsive and a pleasure to work with. Someone was always available to answer any question that might arise, and our satisfaction was a top priority for everyone involved. All in all, this was one of the best decisions we have ever made as homeowners.

I was working with another highly reputable solar company and almost signed the contract. I decided to get 1 more quote to make sure their equipment and prices were in-line. I sent an email to MN Solar and they scheduled a consultation within a day. I talked with the owner and designer (Kim & Leah), and they put together a proposal that used better materials, was more efficient, fit my roof better, and was about 10% cheaper that the other contractor. I also appreciated that they didn't try to bury excessive "administrative fees" into a low interest loan like the other contractor did. It was clear that they were not just sales people...they actually design the systems and know what they're talking about, so I decided to go with MN Solar. We ran into a hiccup just before the installation began that caused a slight delay. My electrical company (Dakota Electric) was not certain I'd be able to keep my off-peak rates for my off-peak heat pump and EV Charger equipment. Solar was still pretty new to Dakota Electric (May 2021), so I needed verification from Dakota Electric before anything moved forward. Kim, Leah, and their Master Electrician spent many hours with Dakota Electric to ensure everything was set up correctly, and I was able to keep my off-peak rates. The amount of effort they provided was impressive. The entire install took about 5-6 days (it was really hot out so they needed to quit early afternoon to avoid damaging the shingles). The crew that did the install was a really good group of guys. They worked hard and did a great job, but they were also extremely friendly and fun to chat with. MN Solar did great work at a very reasonable price. They took care of all the paperwork and permits, and made the whole process effortless for me. Their customer service and follow up were great too. If you're looking at getting solar installed, make sure you get 2-3 quotes so you can compare costs, equipment, and contractors. Just make sure MN Solar is one of the contractors because they are really good.
