Still waiting for installation

Energy Sage's algorithm recommended Kuubix Energy, with a price and quality combination. I entered into an installation contract with Kuubix in May, with a $1,000 deposit to secure an installation date. Well, despite many attempts to contact Kuubix via phone calls and emails, I have had no luck. I am still waiting to get an installation date. Several sales contacts I have worked with are no longer with the company. I am left high and dry and wonder if I will ever get solar on my home.

I cannot recommend Kuubix to anyone for their solar projects

Seven months after panel installation, my system is not operational and I have no estimate as to when my main panel will be upgraded and my installation completed. My initial contract was signed in January 2022. My panels were installed about two months later on March 10, 2022. While my project includes a main electrical panel upgrade and I expected that to extend the timeline a bit, I never thought it would result in extensive delays to completing my project. Since installation, I have dealt with three different project managers, with two leaving the company during that time. Kuubix has provided little to no proactive communication throughout the entire process. I have had to reach out for any updates, and it always feels like it is the first time the company is hearing about my issues. I have been as patient and reasonable as possible, but I cannot understand why I have panels on my roof that I paid for and that are not providing any benefits to me. I cannot recommend Kuubix to anyone for their solar projects. While the price is appealing, I would encourage you to take your business elsewhere.

job is not complete in 4 months

I signed the contract with Kuubix in first week of February, 2022. They gave me a call on March 2nd that they can install panels next day. So next day they came to my house and installed all panels, converters etc. So far so good, quality of job looked fine. The second part of the installation contract was to update my main electrical panel, connect it with newly installed equipment and pass the PG&E inspection. Here I got the problem. After more than 3 months they don't even want to give me an ETA on my project finish. They do respond to my messages but their answer is basically always meaningless: we wait for subcontractor to give us the date! So total 4 months, I paid 75% of my contract and stuck in the middle with no clear perspective of completion. Think twice!!!

Virgil was our sales agent. we were surprised with how fast they put the panels on our roof which was in December 2020 and it is now march and the panels still have not been hooked up. No project manager was assigned nor has our Sales agent "Virigil" ever reached out to us since they put the pannels ONLY on our roof, I am the one calling and he is always surprised when I tell him we are not hooked up to solar yet and now they no longer have an electrician for our area. We are now supposed to start paying for the pannels and the lender stated they do not care if the pannels are working which eplains why Kuix put them on our roof so quickly and left us out to dry. I am going to have them remove the pannels and go with a different company.

Do solar, but not with Kuubix

My installation was a nightmare. They promised 3 days to complete install of panels. 6 months later they were done and my system came online. They removed and reinstalled the panels 2 times after initially getting them up. They left me with no instructions on how to work the system. Took several day's of my time emailing and talking with their lawyer, then I had to get my lawyer involved to get it done. Now my roof is leaking and they won't call me back. Their answering machine claims they'll call back within 48 hours, it has been a week since my first call.
