They put in a system a few years ago. Waited for the to see how it performed. They gave me lots of clear options were very honest about what those things would mean. The system has performed just like they said it would. No upselling. They answered MANY questions, really helped me to understand my choices. Very professional, both sales and install. Start to finish. Towards the end, there was a miscommunication between someone putting in siding, myself, and these guys. They went to the extra mile to make it look beautiful. I would not hesitate to work with them again.

I've been working with Centauri Systems for a couple months now to install solar on my house and garage and they've been great. They made a comprehensive plan and explained it to me in detail, as well as details about their company and the technology behind solar in general. They were also very patient and understanding when my loan for the project was taking longer than anticipated to go through and so unfortunately I paid the invoice late, but they were totally fine with that.

I had a great experience with Centauri overall and would recommend them to anyone considering solar. When I started looking into adding solar to my home, I used EnergySage to get quotes from four different companies and I spent a lot of time interviewing each one. Not only was Centauri highly rated, the most cost effective, and had the best warranty (provided by Solar Insure), but their sales lead Dylan was extremely responsive, patient, and helpful throughout my extended line of questioning. Once I decided to move forward with Centauri, Noah and Destiny took over the project execution and they were the same way. They all took the time to work with me on understanding the nuances that made my project unique to ensure the job would be done right, and exactly how I wanted it. Centauri kept me up to date as they moved through the permit process and were flexible with my scheduling needs. When the install date came, everything went very smoothly. The crew was professional and courteous, listened to all of my concerns, and had the panels and trenching done in a day, with final wiring completed the following day. Overall there was very little disruption to our lives and the work looked great - one of the installers even gave me a jar of homemade pasta sauce to try! My only minor disappointments were the limited pictures I received of the roof penetrations and that the dirt was not able to be fully compacted back into the trench due to it being October (not Centauri's fault, but I hadn't thought about it so was unexpected for me). The install passed all inspections and the panels have been operating without issue for over three months now. I get excited to check the Enphase app every day to see how much energy we generated, and was pleasantly surprised when our first electric bill with solar was negative! Centauri did great work for us and I'm looking forward to (hopefully) having many more negative electric bills!

I recently had 23 REC 420 Alpha Pure R panels installed on my home in St. Paul, MN. I considered going solar for the past few years, but for a number of reasons decided to wait. I even signed a contract with two previous local installers. One was not as communicative as they should have been for the size of my investment and the other one just didn't provide the value when final pricing kept going up as we neared the install date. Centauri Systems was essentially me taking a flyer because of their reputation on Energy Sage. Also, I contemporaneously priced a system with another large installer in town that was far more expensive per watt and with a lower quality panel. I'm so happy I went with Centauri. Do yourself a favor and have a chat with Dylan. At any point if you don't feel like it makes sense, then pull the plug, but I'm willing to bet that at every stage of the process you will feel more than comfortable with this company. Every electrician on staff, every installer on your roof and every project manager in the office is a genuinely nice person. I even personally texted with the owner when I needed a panel cleaned that had some sunscreen spilled on it during installation. Not once did I feel like I was being fed a sales pitch or uncomfortable around anybody on their staff. My advice would be to take your time when designing the system. Try to fit as many panels as possible and work collaboratively with Dylan to come up with a design that makes sense to you. I'm already planning on adding more panels on the eastern facing portion of my house. Two thumbs up!
