The extra solar energy is fed back into the grid through your production meter to the nearest loads. Most utilities credit you about 1/3rd of what you produce.
They hold up well to high winds since these systems are used in areas prone to hurricanes. When we are required to get a structural analysis, the rating is usually 115 mph for residential homes.
If you used 13,693kwh annually x 0.18325, your annual avoided energy cost would be $2,509.24. If you qualify for the income tax credit and FOE rebate ,it would be roughly 7 years. However, energy cost continue to rise!
A system like the one in our proposal without batteries would take about 4-5 working days. With batteries, it would be about 6-8 working days. A more solid plan and estimate could be provided after a site visit to your home.
Between 2-3 Months from when a contract is signed and the system is functioning. The season and demand can adjust this timeline.
We usually mount them outside, in the basement, or in the garage.
Most of the battery systems that we install are capable of powering the entire house during an outage, in some cases it is to backup essential loads if the house has a large energy usage or the customer wants to maximize their battery capacity.

very happy with solar installation on our house

Elevated Solar & Electric did a great job! They were very nice to work with, knowledgeable, & had the best/lowest estimate of 5 different companies. We liked meeting/talking directly with owners (vs just a salesperson). They answered our questions and we're very happy with the installation of 15 solar panels on our garage roof. Feels good to start having lower electric bills and doing our part to help the planet/environment. And we're looking forward to the 30% of the cost being credited to our federal taxes this year. Solar Install - transparent pricing and easy to work with

Great communication and customer service from the bidding process on. They are also local and handle everything in house. They take care of the planning, permitting, installation, and any follow up after install if needed. Pricing was competitive and transparent.

Did Great!

I had issues with my solar system for the last several years and had maybe at least 12 different companies try to figure out how to fix it. They all struck out. Took some research by Elevated Solar, but they did figure it out and corrected it. I was very impressed. The crew working on my system was great too. They did a great job of answering all my questions. And being an engineer, I had a lot of them. Very impressive.
