Most of our customers install grid-tied PV systems.
No. There are other options such as a ground mount. Mounting on a garage, barn, or outbuilding is also an option.
During our site evaluation, we will determine how much of your roof is shaded throughout the year. We can factor this into your estimated electricity production.
Grid-tied PV systems do not require batteries. Cleantap Energy does offer a grid-tied battery backup system.
Most grid-tied systems are designed to shut off automatically during power outages when the grid goes down. When power returns, your system will restart automatically.
The lifespan of a PV array is expected to be greater than 30 years. Inverter warranties range between 10 and 25 years.
Energy conservation and renewable energy generation add value to a home. National surveys have shown that Solar adds 8-12% to a home’s value.
Cleantap Energy does offer financing through Sungage. Many of our clients also finance their systems with home equity loans or with home refinancing.

Cleantap Energy was the clear choice

I don’t normally write reviews, but I felt that this one was warranted given the exceptional experience I recently had with Cleantap Energy. I was looking for a solar panel system for our office building and they had exactly what I needed. I opted for a 10-panel system and it’s perfect!   The staff was engaging and answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns. Being that this was my first system, I had many! They were knowledgeable and responsive and the install was delivered exactly as promised. I am absolutely delighted that I chose them over some other companies I was considering. I highly recommend to anyone considering solar. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!

Solar System

Clean Tap was referred to me by a friand. I took a shot with them, and they were all I was told they would be. Very professional and clean. The system is working as good if not better than anticipated. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a solar array.

Roof solar system

Highly recommended using Cleantap Energy. They communicated consistently throughout the installation. The team got the work done really fast. It looks great! Once it was installed they throughly talked over the system and how it works and set everything up for me to monitor

Home Solar Panel Installation

CleanTap Energy installed solar panels on our garage roof in July. When we contacted CleanTap Chris came out and looked at our layout and listened to what we wanted to accomplish and how we wanted it designed. Chris truly listened to our wants and the way we wanted it all to look. We received our quote promptly and we were placed onto the schedule soon after. The installation team were fast, efficient, and meticulous. Once the panels were all installed we were shown the app to be able to monitor our production.
